Joyful Harvest Ministries
We believe a church shows its love for God by showing
its love for God's people. At Joyful Harvest we're
involved in our community and in the helping all of God's
children to grow closer to their Creator. If you would
like more information on any of these ministries, please
contact the church office at (847) 497-4569 or by email at

WorshipWorship Opportunities
Joyful Harvest offers weekly worship
opportunities on Saturdays and Sundays
as well as many special worship services
throughout the year: Blue Christmas,
Christmas Eve, numerous times throughout
Holy Week, Memorial Day, Thanksgiving
Eve, and many, many others. Please
see the
home page for a
current listing of the upcoming worship
times! Invitation to BaptismBaptism is the doorway to our full life in Christ and in the Church. Through Baptism we are brought into the Body of Christ, the Church, and made children of God. In some Christian traditions it is normative to baptize infants or young children. In others, older children and adults make a mature affirmation of faith and are then baptized. Lutherans, like Roman Catholics, Episcopalians, and Orthodox Christians, have traditionally encouraged the baptism of infants and young children. At the same time, we welcome those whose understanding of baptism is centered on mature acceptance of Christ. If you are interested in being baptized or in having your child baptized, please contact our office, via email office@joyfulharvest.org or by telephone (847) 497-4569. We at Joyful Harvest would be honored to walk with you in this holy journey toward a deeper relationship with Christ. |

ConfirmationConfirmation ministry is a pastoral and educational ministry of the church that helps the baptized through Word and Sacrament to identify more deeply with the Christian community and participate more fully in its mission. Confirmation is focused on teenagers, seventh grade and up, but is also for anyone who desires to learn more about what it means to be a Christian and Lutheran in today's society. If you would like more information, please contact Pastor Doug! |
